In-Ceram Overview

The proven In-Ceram® family of all-ceramic substructure porcelains includes three materials possessing differing properties.

The phenomenal success rate (99%+) of the In-Ceram family of materials is unsurpassed by any other all-ceramic system. In combination with compatible veneering porcelains, this family of products provides three-dimensional color, varying levels of translucency and strengths that surpass pressable ceramics by 3 to 4 times. They do not require enamel/Dentine bonding and their varying levels of translucency enable ceramists to deliver restorations that satisfy every esthetic restorative need.

In-Ceram Alumina, In-Ceram Spinell and In-Ceram Zirconia are also available in machinable block form for CEREC inLab and DCS milling systems.

Presintered blocks are milled using a CAD/CAM technique (inLab by Sirona) in sizes larger than that required after firing; they then shrink to a defined volume during the subsequent sintering procedure.
