STA-PUT Gel is used to temporarily hold the restoration in place on the model while it is being worked on. The low-viscosity gel-like material is squeezed into/onto the restoration or onto the die. Once placed, the porcelain is held in position while the dentist or ceramist adds stain, glaze, contacts, create characterizations, etc. It burns out when heated.
