Pressing Forward; Economically Incorporating a Highly Versatile Pressing System into Your Lab-*Featuring Bill Mrazek, CDT
Pressing systems have proven to be economical, labor saving, and efficient. What has been missing is a press system that is flexible enough to be both a press-to and stand-alone system and that can also be esthetically modified with one porcelain system. In this workshop a versatile pressing system that provides the participant an opportunity to re-evaluate fundamental pressing procedures will be explored. Participants will learn how to select the right pressing pellet for the desired shade. Each person will also learn how reduce and layer a pressed restoration to achieve a custom look.
- Learn about pressing techniques and the handling of common issues related to ceramic pressing.
- Understand how to match pressed restorations to other all-ceramic or metal-ceramic restorations.
- Create special effects for inlays, onlays, and full contour pressed restorations.
